The Edwards Ensemble

Ceremony. Soul. Sound.

Edwards Ensemble brings together a collective of professional musicians dedicated to delivering elegant live music for ceremonial occasions across Tasmania — from solo performances to full ensemble arrangements.

Founded by trumpeter and educator Pete Edwards, the ensemble specialises in creating meaningful musical experiences for weddings, funerals, memorials, and civic events. Every performance is tailored to the moment — whether it’s a single trumpet call, a gentle processional, or a richly layered ensemble.

We believe that live music offers presence, depth, and emotional connection that recorded sound cannot match. Our musicians draw on classical training, live performance experience, and a deep respect for the occasions we support.

At Edwards Ensemble, our mission is simple: To provide live music that is personal, professional, and unforgettable — whether one musician or many.
